Contact Temperature Sensor
THE BATTERY-POWERED IoT SENSOR THAT ALLOWS YOU TO DETECT, WITH EXTREMELY PRECISION, THE TEMPERATURE OF THE OBJECTS.

GENERAL OVERVIEW
This device, produced by Filippetti Group, is able to measure the temperature of a body (object/asset) using a thermal probe connected directly to the object. It integrates a PT100 platinum resistance thermometer and is equipped with a wireless communication and transmission system and long life batteries (up to 5 years). This feature makes it easy to install in any context.
Measurements are made by sample with intervals that can be set remotely. Its small size makes it less invasive and easy to integrate with the surrounding environment. The device is able to detect temperatures between -50 and 250 ° C.
MAIN ADVANTAGES
- Lightweight and resistant: made of high-strength plastic material, the device is light and incredibly high-performing, even in the case of extreme operating temperatures (temperature range -20 ° C to + 75 ° C). The operating temperature of the PT100 probe is -50 ° C to + 250 ° C.
- Quick and simple installation: two fixing options to allow you to have maximum installation flexibility. The device is in fact supplied complete with the wall fixing system that can be adhesive or by means of brackets to be anchored to holes made on the wall (optional).
OPERATING PRINCIPLES
COMMUNICATION: SMART NETWORK PROTOCOL
Through UHF wireless communication (LoRa/FSK modulation) and a Filippetti Group gateway (on Smart Network proprietary protocol) it is possible to monitor in real time the comfort values (temperature and relative humidity), measured by the environmental sensor.
SPECIFIC MEASURES: TEMPERATURE
Equipped with PT100 platinum resistance thermometer, the device takes care of acquiring the fundamental parameters for environmental monitoring. The system is supplied already calibrated and inside a plastic package, equipped with a terminal connector to allow the connection with class B thermo-resistance (supplied).
ACTUATION:
The temperature sensor alone is not able to intervene on the temperature control of the object being analysed. However, after realization of an architecture of integration with HVAC systems and actuators, it is possible to use the measurements provided by the environmental sensor of Filippetti Group to enable control scenarios.
POWER SUPPLY: by BATTERY
The sensor is powered by 3 AA batteries, each of 2.2 Ah and with a nominal voltage of 3.6V, which allow an average duration (albeit variable depending on the type of use) greater than 3 years.
