Filippetti Group’s Structural Accelerometer is an advanced sensor for measuring and monitoring vibrations, used in civil engineering for vibrational diagnostics. Powered by long-lasting batteries, the device is robust and reliable, suitable for the structural monitoring of different types of works. It allows you to diagnose the status of civil structures, historic buildings, tunnels and mining, in the construction sites and large infrastructures. Thanks to its lightweight and small size, the sensor can be easily used in any condition and scenario.
The technology is made with anodised aluminum structure and connectors for IP68 LEMO cables. These characteristics make it extremely resistant and ideal for use in the most demanding and hostile environments. It helps to manage a wide range of activities, from simple on-site measurement, to the complex monitoring networks.
- Robust and resistant: the sensor is certified with IP68 rating which guarantees maximum protection against the intrusion of powders and liquids, and is able to withstand extreme operating temperatures (-10°C to +75°C). Equipped with an extremely robust anodised aluminium housing and thanks to its high mechanical strength (shock resistance up to 5000 g), the sensor is ideal for use in the most critical environmental conditions.
- Practical and reliable: the device is supplied with transport case, mounting accessories, connection cable and traceable calibration certificate. The sensor allows to obtain professional and reliable analysis results also directly in situ.
- Advanced structural monitoring: the sensor is available in an advanced version and can be connected directly to the PC to which it was previously installed our innovative monitoring software. The advanced version uses the MEMS-PIEZO hybrid technology and makes it possible to create a complete system that uses multiple accelerometers connected in parallel thanks to the SynkHub module.
The sensor can be connected to the PC thus creating an advanced system of vibrational analysis of buildings and terrain. Thanks to the 16-bit CPU, the radioed. The sensor uses an integrated 24-bit SigmaDelta analogue converter and MEMS sensor with a wide dynamic range and high shock and impact resistance.
Digital signal transmission eliminates de facto all electromagnetic disturbances, even over very long distances (up to 1 km) and makes it ideal for monitoring large structures such as bridges and/or dams.
The device integrates a triaxial accelerometer to detect vibrations and oscillations and to estimate values of posture and movement.
Suitable to operate in Outdoor and Indoor environments with a high concentration of dust and humidity.
Average lifetime from 10 to 15 years, without maintenance.
